Ex- Physician Faces Assault Allegations Involving Thirty-Eight Patients
Legal authorities have announced that a former doctor stands accused of committing sexual assaults involving thirty-eight victims who were patients.
Details of the Serious Allegations
Nathaniel Spencer from Birmingham faces allegations of numerous acts of sexual assault – some of which involve some against children younger than 13 – between 2017 to 2021.
A deputy chief prosecutor commented, “Our prosecutors have worked at length to support a thorough and intricate police inquiry, carefully reviewing the available evidence to determine that there is a strong case to proceed to trial and that it is in the public interest.”
The Investigation
The charges follow what police called a “detailed inquiry” into reported assaults at medical facilities: the Royal Stoke university hospital and a facility in Dudley.
Spencer is due to appear at the local magistrates' court on 20 January.

The charging documents outline the 45 sexual offences include:
- 15 counts of sexual assault.
